About a week ago I wrote a short post about Online File Folder and now it’s time for a follow up post with a practical example on how to use the Online File Folder. This post will be about backing up your WordPress blog to an off-server location that’s safe and far away from your server hosting your blog.
For most of us running a blog the content is the most valuable we have (including comments etc), and of course we have to treat the content like it’s gold to us. Unfortunately way to many of us aren’t treating the content like gold and some of us have almost never considered doing backups of the blog database. What would you do if someone hacked your blog and deleted all your posts, or if the server hard drive crashed ans you couldn’t get anything back?
