There’s a new version of WordPress available (version 2.6.1). But if you’re happy with version 2.6 and it’s doing its job, then you don’t have to upgrade according to the WordPress blog:
If you’re happy with 2.6, however, keep on using it. You need not upgrade to 2.6.1 if 2.6 is getting the job done.
So if everything is working for you with version 2.6 then you can relax and just wait for version 2.6.2 instead 😀 .
