The country domain of Chile (.CL) lost about 5.6 million pages recently according to statistics from Xavier Media Whois. The loss of those pages where about 13% of all pages hosted on .CL domain names.
But that’s not all, if you look at the .CL domain historically for the last 3 months this drop in hosted pages is just a minor one.
The .CL top level domain have had two even bigger drops then the one we’ve seen since yesterday. At the current level .CL domain host about the same number of pages they did about 6 months ago, which causes the domain to stay at place 51 in the TLD ranking done by Xavier Media Whois. Place 51 in the ranking is the same as 6 months ago.
