The UK based company Domain Express offers domain name registrations for the most common top level domains like .com, .net, .org, .biz and of course .co.uk with prices in pound sterling. You can of course also buy web hosting from them at the same time as you register your domain name, or just web hosting if you already have registered your domain with someone else.
For example a .com, .net or .org domain costs £7.99 for one year (about 13.23 USD according to XavierFinans.com using todays exchange rate). A .co.uk domain is cheaper and would cost you only £5.98 (about 9.90 USD) per year. They offer registration in many other TLDs too.
If you for example buy their Home Hosting package you get the domain name included in the hosting cost. You then get 150 Mb web space, 2 500 Mb data transfer, 20 email accounts, PHP 5, anti-spam and anti virus for £2.39/month (about $3.96/month).
To me the Business Hosting package is more impressive since then you get not only 550 Mb space, 10 000 Mb data transfer and 100 email accounts, but also raw data logs, mod_perl support, and support via email 😀 . Of course is the domain name also included in the Business Hosting package.
One good thing is that they accept payments via both PayPal and credit cards.
