Celebrities will always be popular both because people want to know all they do and also they want to know them since they seem so cool. In the search engine statistics over the most searched words there’s always at least one celebrity, and it will always be like that. So why not start profiting from famous questions and famous people?
It’s easier said then done to start your own site packed with questions about famous people and famous quotes, but there’s help to get. Famous Questions CMS is a content management system (CMS) that specializes in this kind of content, making it easy for you to setup a site on your own. People can ask and answer questions and thanks to the Facebook integration for logging in at the CMS people won’t have any problems signing up. They just login using their Facebook details 😉 . It’s of course also possible to sign up for an account without Facebook.
Since your visitors will both ask and answer questions you get fresh content all the time, i.e. you don’t have to provide the content yourself. When I checked out the site one of the questions where “Is Charlie Sheen using MySpace?” and it was asked by Olivia 😉
To get you started and help your site get interesting content there’s an integration with Yahoo! Answers to collect both questions and answers.
The CMS is not only a simple CMS for you where you can administrate your content, it’s a complete social network where your users can setup their own profile, get awarded by points/levels/badges, rate questions and answers and much more. Since the visitors will provide the content you will always get the latest trends discussed on your site that people may be searching for using the search engines, it’s good that a SEO module is included so you can get high ranking in the search engines.
To see the features included or even try to ask a few questions yourself you could have a look at FamousWhy where you find a live functional web site built using the web scripts you can get from ask.famouswhy.com.
You as the site owner can of course profit from the site by placing ads on the site, but since there’s some kind of award system for the end users I could also think that if you’re a little bit handy you could write your own module to start charging for special badges or memberships (but that may require some additional programming). The scripts are built using PHP, so you should be able to run it on
Check out FamousWhy you too.
My idea was that you would get the content for free and display like Adsense ads (or any another type of ads you like) and also if you’re handy and can program a module to charge members for special features. The later one require some user base first, but that should be able to accomplish thanks to the SEO module included in the CMS and the free content you get.
The whole idea with this kind of thing is to profit from the latest trends. Lets say Charlie Sheen is going to rehab again, his fans will then search for his name in Google and if you have a new question in the CMS regarind him then you would get some traffic.

Hi Andreas, This CMS sounds interesting and yet I’m not quite sure how it works. I mean I’ve read your post and you explain it well, but it’s still a little confusing. When I clicked on the link provided the CMS site, I saw questions and answers as you said that is what this website is all about. I just don’t understand how one can make money from this site. I’m certainly keeping an open mind and really would like to know a little more. I think I’ll email you and see where or what one can do to make money. Thanks for a chance to make money in different ways/ jj
