If you’ve got a page created for your company, website, forum, blog or topic at Facebook you will see a page asking you to upgrade your page to the new layout.
All Facebook pages must be upgraded by March 2011 to the new layout, so why wait? We upgraded our page facebook.com/XavierMedia this Friday, so check it out if you haven’t visited it before.
Some of the new functions/features are the navigation on the page, relevancy of the Everyone feature and you can also now use Facebook as your page 😉
The last one is something I found interesting. When you click on “Use Facebook as [page name]” you are logged in as your page when you surf Facebook. This means that you will get notifications like your page, i.e. you see all the friends requests in the top list your page has received.
Also when you click the Home link logged in as your page you see the newsfeed from all the pages you’ve put as favorites in your page. So now it’s possible to create one page for each of your interest and sort your pages based on topic 😉
